MES switches

A course dedicated to building local area networks based on Eltex switches of the
MES series. During the training, students will get acquainted with the technical
characteristics and functionality of the main line of MES switches of the access level,
aggregation and core.

Pre-requisites

Knowledge of information technology essentials and network architecture theory (OSI model, roles of protocols and standards).
Understanding of terms: switch, router, IP address, MAC address, subnet mask, VLAN, Trunk and Access modes, Ethernet frame fields, encapsulation, IP subnetting and IP summarization.
Proficiency in using the Command Line Interface (CLI)

All training modules feature lab practices. A dedicated Eltex hardware lab stand is provided to every group regardless of the training format (in-person or online)
